Fastpass + (When does it take effect?)

Hi everyone

I'm sorry if this has already been asked, but the search is disabled

I know not too much information is out there, but has anyone heard of potential dates as to when the fastpass + will take effect?

Were AP holders and the only information we got through the AP booklet they send is "starting soon". I know they have occasional test runs, but I'm wondering when it will be in full effect and how will it ultimately work out as far as how many fastpass credits will be issued.

Honestly, I am not crazy with the idea of having to schedule my ride times. It feels like now everything has to be planned and rushed, but we have family coming to FL in different times of the year and I would liked to be prepared so that they can have an amazing experience as I am sure is everyone else's concern as well. Any rumors as to when we will see this in full swing? Thanks in advance.

if i were to guess id say sometimes between now and the end of the year... pretty small window by disney standards...

Im hoping that they make an official announcement that way people can plan accordingly.
