Fastpass+ Weirdness on MDE

I'm checking in at POR on 10/17, but I have so far not got my park tickets (bought from a separate seller - not Disney direct - so in no way linked to my Disney account yet) registered on MDE. Despite this MDE is showing me possible Fastpass times for dates within 30 days from now, but only for MK. Not for any other park. That's not supposed to happen is it? Not if I don't have park tickets?

What's worrying me is that my MNSSHP tickets ARE linked to MDE, because against he advice on here I couldn't resist linking my ticket to my account. But you can't book Fastpasses for MNSSHP can you ? I am confused, and worried that my inability to stop myself linking my hard tickets to MDe is causing issues.

Help me, advise me, reassure me people.

The reason why you can only book for MK now is because you have the party tickets linked; otherwise you cannot book at all since you don't have your tickets yet. This happened to me once I got my Villains Unleashed tickets. I could only book for DHS until I was 60 days out. You should be ok to book for the other parks once you link your regular admission tickets. There are many horror stories about MDE and FP+ which make us worried. Pixie dust for you!

You can book FP+ from 4-7 pm but not during the party.

Hope this helps and have fun planning!

So your 60 day opened without any problems? I am super nervous about our MNSSHP tickets and was considering calling IT to have them unlinked.

Yes, It will open as normal... this seems to happen to everyone who has party tickets (us too). And, I assure you, our window opened at 60days... around 12:01am :thumbsup2

Same exact thing happened to me with MNSSHP tickets, and I was also nervous. However, once my 60 day window opened up the selection changed to allow any park for the length of my stay.

One word of advice -- get to the individual day you want to book FP+ for in your itinerary at midnight. I was waiting on that "home" screen, and it took a bit for it to refresh from the MK only/30 day option to the any park/60 day option. I eventually navigated to the day I was hoping to book for, and the FP+ link on the bottom left was already updated to "Request Now." Hope that helps.

So u can book fp with the mvmcp tickets? So if u use a regular ticket to enter earlier in the day, does that mean u can book 6 fp? I'm confused

No, you can only book them if you don't go to a different park that day OR if you create an entirely different MDE profile and link the tickets to that. If you book FP+ at another park on your party day, the system will not let you book 6 FP. But, for people who aren't going to a different park, they can use the party tickets to book FP from 4-7.

So I'll have a 7 day Magic your Way base ticket plus a MNSSHP ticket. Am I correct in thinking that I'll be able to book Fastpasses for 8 separate days once my tickets are all linked? I will only be using my hard ticket on the party day and entering the park at 4pm.

Yep. :)
