Fastpass viewing area during parties

This will be our first year back since they opened the fastpass garden areas for Wishes. How do they manage these areas during parties? Since no fastpasses are issued after 7pm are these areas still open and are they going to be first come first serve? (other than the one part they will be reserved for Dessert parties). Just curious...

They have discontinued FP for Wishes altogether so the area is just open as normal. The Desert Parties remain, and I think they do one for the parties as well.

The viewing areas were open to all last year. Since they've started selling same day dessert parties there, nobody knows if they will do the same for the hard ticket events.
