FastPass use question...

OK, I originally planned a trip for 3 people, a forth was added relatively last minute. I've been able to modify everything for 4 with the exception of a fastpass for Flight of Passage for the 4th person. In the meantime, one person in the party fell and broke their shoulder, and doesn't want to stress it on Flight of Passage. Can the person without that fastpass, use the one that won't be used by the person with the injury. We'd be honest and ask the fastpass CM at the ride, but I'd like to know if they usually do this. We'll all be in the park, so the magic bands would be scanned for park entry. I didn't see a way to reassign the fastpass in the MDE app.

Just give the other person the band for that ride. It's not a big deal.

I thought that may work, but I didn't know what info pops up on their screens, as the user would be 10 years old, and the actual fastpass is assigned to a 65 year old. Grandma and Grandpa decided to take their grandson.

Yeah, so long as everyone is in the park as you noted, no issues swapping bands and such as needed. All good.

The guest’s name shows on the CM screen (and at times also any celebrations that may be noted for that individual), but it’s otherwise irrelevant/not a factor to the CM monitoring the FP line.

Even if it's a 10 year old girl with pigtails and a Minnie Ears cap and the name that shows up is "Ebenezer" it won't be a problem.

I can't speak to what the actual CM policy is, but we've never had an issue doing exactly what you've described. One time a CM did jokingly say to my daughter, "Hey--you don't look like a Robert!" when she was using another party member's band/FP to ride, and we explained that Robert was resting in the shade and asked if it was ok if my daughter used his pass since he didn't want to. It was no problem at all.
