Is it true you can purchase fastpass tickets for $30 at the ticket booths at each park so you can have access throughout the day? Thanks. This is the first I have heard of this. :earsboy:

Absolutely not, Fastpasses are free and available to everyone!

Wow that's a new one on me!!

you should've read the debate that went on when people discussed the "patents" Disney had....

Dont thinks so... Universal has a front of the line system if you stay in thier reorts, but Disney has too many resort spaces... too many...

Now, last July when we went we did have to pay for the late evening hours, and their were NO LINES... but now, even that is free to resort guests, and I'm reading that lines are longer... but wont know till we get there!!

Yes, you're thinking Universal, which has 3 options.

If you stay onsite you just use your room key as a FP (actually Universal Express Pass (EP)) anytime.

You can buy an EP Plus for $20-37 depending on the time of year (more crowded, more $$$) and that is good for one use on every ride that offers Express, which is almost all of them.

They have free EPs distributed the way FPs are, except you choose from 2 different return windows, but they are limited, and the most popular rides run out VERY early.

Cheers.
