Just returned and am getting somewhat settled from our trip, (4/14-4/21 @WDW) and thought I would provide a take of the FastPass system.

It is a nice idea, but you need to have a better understanding to plan.

Our Mistake: Planned all of our FassPass, one right after another. Nice idea if they are next to each other, but otherwise you will be spending more time running around the park instead of taking in the park.

Obtain a park map and pinpoint your path. Once you have an idea, give yourself some breathing time inbetween each "ride or attraction".

The important thing is following a path and giving yourself time inbetween so that you may enjoy the whole park.

Now a hint for those of us at the Fort: Use your FastPass for the Magic Kingdom Parade and Fireworks. You can not beat the locations.

:cool2:

Here is another tip I discovered back in Jan. at Hollywood Studios.

The Fastpass pole will let you check in 5 min early, but not a minute earlier.

We couldn't check in for TOT until 2 minutes before our time!

Yes, thank you for sharing! I'm new to this...you can get a fast pass for Wishes?

Fast passes for parades was mentioned. We used Magic Bands and fast pass+ when it was at end of testing phase in December and thought it worked out very well for us. But... we did Not use it for parades or fireworks at MK. Can you tell me about the locations. Are they roped off areas and can you see well, or are there still 4 rows of heads to look over like on Main Street? Going in October and can't wait to see the new parade. Any info is appreciated. Thanks

IT WAS UNBELIEVABLE!

For the parade, it was the center circle, right as they enter Main Street. I didn't look around, but my guess would be no more than 200 people inside the roped area. They had several cast members "protecting" the space.

For Wishes, It was in the grassy area to the right of the castle. Again, roped off and controlled by the cast. Plenty of breathing room, where you could sit down on the grass and stretch out.

Seriously, keep this a secret! :rolleyes1
