Fastpass Soarin or Test Track ?

Easywdw has similar drops in waits around 8:30-8:45 daily (including non-EMH days) for Soarin' as well.

If you have Memory Maker/Photopass, you might want to be together as well for the ride photo.

Unfortunately, Josh doesn't show EMH predictions on his site. Looking at Touring plans, the strange thing is TT seems to have a jump in wait times right at closing then drops down by the second hour of EMH. Soarin' on the other hand seems to have a more consistent decline during EMH. I wonder if more onsite guest see and hear TT as they are leaving and decide "OK one more ride" where Soarin' is buried deep in the land pavilion. You're not going to have the impulse riders. People going to the land pavilion are planning on riding soarin'.

Good point! I can hope that works out for us that first night!

We have decided to just get a fastpass for Soarin and try to ride TT during EMH. :confused3 I guess if we dont get to ride because of long lines then it wont be a big loss since Soarin is our favorite. We haven't riden it since it has been redone. Is it much different then before ?

FP Soarin'

ETA: Oops. Looks like you already decided to. To answer your question, yes. It is different. Not vastly different, but different, especially inside. Some of the elements inside are similar, though. The outside loop is still the same.

Baring technically difficulties, you should be able to ride both rides during EMH without much trouble if you're able to stick around till the park closes. This is Soarin' and TT's report for the day after Christmas last year.

Statistically, this is potentially the worst EMH of the year but in the second hour, TT dropped to 30 min. and Soarin' dropped to 20 min.

If TT has technical problems though the line could get backed up

Thats's good :thumbsup2 Thanks for posting. The EMH is only until 11:00 that night though, hopefully since it will not be as crowded as Christmas time it will be waits about the same.

I just booked my fast passes and chose Soarin. I'll get to TT at rope drop and be done.

It is VERY different. The indoor part of the ride is very Tron like, very futuristic and cool. The outside part is pretty much the same.

Personally, I like the update a lot more.

Ok this will be our arrival day and we will not get to the park until about 4:00. There will be an EMH at Epcot that evening. Which should we use fastpass for before EMH starts ? I hate it that there is a tier on these rides :headache:

i'd just add that you might consider being sure to schedule your two "tier two" FP+'s for prior to your 4pm arrival... that way, as soon as you finish soarin', you can race over to a kiosk and see if you can still get lucky with a TT fastpass for later that night. certainly a long shot, but, given the high likelihood of short stand-by times at all the tier two attractions (unless you'll be there on a super busy day), it doesn't seem to me that you'd be giving up all that much.

Also, TT doesn't run if it is raining. If you FP+ time happens to be when it is raining you are probably out of luck. You could try to change over to Soarin' but getting a comparable return time would be difficult.
