Fastpass+ -- several questions!

Hi, everyone! I am a long-time Disney goer and was an AP holder at some point, but this is my first time to go since the new Fastpass+ system begun. I have several questions that I am hoping to find out how it works.

1. We are renting DVC points but purchased tickets separately through a charity auction. How do I link the tickets to our room reservation so I can book fastpasses? I have my reservation linked through the MyDisney experience; am I able to link it all there?

2. We have a separate party traveling with us who is staying at another resort. Am I able to link her to us somehow for Fastpass booking purposes?

3. When our day opens, what time does booking begin? (i.e., midnight, 6:00am, etc.?)

Thank you, everyone!! I am sure the answers to these questions are elsewhere but I do appreciate the help and responses! (My lack of recent Disney trips is because of law school. I am wrapping up my final law school assignment this weekend to graduate and have started studying for my state's Bar Exam, so I haven't had much time to do any digging for answers to these questions on here. This trip will be immediately after I take the Bar Exam at the end of February, so I am trying to multi-task to plan on small study breaks. Thank you, again, for the help!!!!)

You also link park admission using MDE.

If they already have their own MDE account and have their room reservation linked, the easiest way to friend them is by using their room reservation number after you select 'Add a Guest' from your Family & Friends list. The add by reservation is only an option on the MDE website.

3. When our day opens, what time does booking begin? (i.e., midnight, 6:00am, etc.?)

Midnight (or shortly there after) Eastern.

If the OP's 60-day booking window is in the next week or so (and that seems likely with a late February trip), then it will open at 1:00a or possibly even 2:00a. More info is in the link already provided above.

Our 60-day window is on the 30th. 1am or 2am? Yeesh. My Bar Prep Class wasn't built around FP+ bookings, apparently.

ETA: It's 1:00am for my day. Yesh. At lest I'm central time, though, and will still be at midnight my time. I was hoping to be in bed by 11:15pm for class the next morning. Oh well, I hope.
