Has anyone else heard the rumor that involves upcoming changes to the Fastpass+ system that would allow a guest to make their regular 3 selections, then use 1 of those selections in the park of their choice before using the My Disney Experience app to book another selection? This would allow a guest to constantly keep 3 FP+ booked at a time during their day at a given park.

That doesn't really make sense...

I don't think Disney's intention is to have people "maxing out" rides by booking over and over again from 8 am to midnight

A kind of makes sense especially if they set a time that you couldn't make the extra Fastpass + prior to! That would give time for people who didn't have them in advance to make them but would ensure that all the available slots are filled up for the total length of time the park is open. :thumbsup2

What could make more "sense" would be Disney holding back a certain number of Fastpass+ Selections for day-of selections at the Park Kiosks only. This would allow last minute guests, AP holders who choose to go on a particular day (without planning in advance) and the uninformed park guest to make selections. Perhaps it would decrease the lines at City Hall?

That said, I am completely fine with the way the system works now. Worked very well for our party on the most recent trip.

This was a rumor when disney sent out surveys about FP+. It was one of the options they asked guests to "fix" the new system in a way. They did not go with this idea. instead they went with what is now you advance book three and once you've used three you book a fourth and so on. I would say its very safe to bet this rumor will not come true ever.

Since the OP didn't say this was from a bus driver nor a random CM we know this rumor can't be true. :dance3:
