Dukland said:Yes, but the tickets MUST have already been to the parks that day. For example, you can't drop the family off at Disneyland first thing in the morning, then have one family member get fastpasses in CA. If the tickets haven't been into the parks that day, they won't work.
What a lot of people do is, get into DL. While one person runs and gets FPs in DL, everyone else exits the park, and waits in line for CA. Then, the "runner" catches up with them in line, and they all enter CA together. Then the runner can go get FPs in CA.
I think that method works best for families with older kids, who are really trying to hit as many rides as possible. When we went this summer, our kids were 5 and 2, so that method was just too busy for my family. I'm sure that will be us in a few years, though.

I agree with csw that you can do this. I personally have been the runner on our last several trips and have done this both directions - i.e., start the day at DL and then only the runner (me) goes to DCA, and vice versa, to get FPscsw said:Actually, I did just this in January 2006. Family and friends at DL with FP, I took the tickets to CA and was able to get FP for Grizzly and Soarin. Returned to DL to enjoy FP there and then the group went over to CA when those FP were ready. Maybe a new change?
Nope. Here is an article posted today that touches on this: http://www.miceage.com/allutz/al103106c.htmRandy K said:Anyone think there is any chance they maybe adding Fastpass to The Materhorn during its current refurb? It seems an odd ride not to have one.
It's going to be next winter's Matterhorn refurbishment that will be of interest to Disneyland fans, as the classic inline bobsled seating is planned to be replaced with individual seat compartments with a lap bar instead of a rather useless seatbelt. And no, they won't add Fastpass and they won't reroute the line away from the sides of the mountain anytime soon either.
thanks a bundle for the bonus tip...what about the timing. do all rules apply when you "cross" the parksDukland said:Yes, but the tickets MUST have already been to the parks that day. First Pirates has not had FP for several years now. But if it did, yes, you are correct. The FP systems at DL and DCA are not connected. So if you get a FP at DL and it says "the next time you can get a FP is...", it does not apply to DCA. And as in the OP question, it does not apply to Roger Rabbit at DL or Grizzly River Run at DCA.npoon said:thanks a bundle for the bonus tip...what about the timing. do all rules apply when you "cross" the parks
for example, if i fp pirates for 9:00am can i run to CA at 9:01 to get "soarin" or can i quickly fp pirates at 8:00 and fp "soarin" at 8:01 (just an example, because i don't have a "transporter beam" like the one in star trek.
