FastPass+ Questions

Hello, I'm a first timer and I will be booking my FastPasses on Mon night at midnight as I am trying to get Anna & Elsa meet & Greet as well as lunch at Be Our Guest. Anyway my question is I went into the MDE website to see if I could "practice" but it keeps saying I need a valid park ticket. I checked and all my tickets are linked. Everything I have booked so far is showing up. Could it be because the system knows it's not my time to book yet?? I just wanted to make sure I wasn't going to have this problem when I actually went in to book them. I have already gone through the whole thing to set it up and make sure that my husband and kids are all displayed and linked but it's currently only listing me and it's grayed out and says I need a valid park ticket? I just thought it was odd... Anyone else have this issue or am I the only crazy one who thought I could practice...lol

Yup, that's the same message I got on MDE before my FP+ selection window opened. My window opened exactly at midnight (or a few seconds after, haha) and both the message and screen changed and allowed me to make my selections.

But yes, I was paranoid that my tickets were not linked too!

The "FP" for BOG lunch is a completely different system, does not count as one of your 3.

BOG lunch FP books somewhere around 28 days before. Lots of info on the restaurant boards here.

Thank you! At least I'm not the only one who wanted to practice. And glad I'm not the only one who got nervous about it.

And thanks for the tip! I would have been searching and searching for it! Good to know I have an additional FP to pick now.

you cannot "practice".
it will only allow you to view the fastpass+ section once its time.
if you want to see what it looks like and how to do it there are a number of videos on youtube that people show what it looks like and how it works so you will know what to do when the clock strikes midnight.

If you're family could do an early lunch at 10:30AM when BOG first opens, then the FP is unnecessary. I've gone multiple times during the summer when it first opens. You get your choice of a table in any of the three rooms without having to worry about maybe not being able to sit where you want. Also, there's not a lot of people there at that time, so it will be less crowded.
