So let's say I got a FP for Splash Mountain at 9:00 scheduled for 11:30-12:30 and then we went over to Big Thunder Railroad at 9:20 to get another FP and the time is scheduled for 2:00. Will it dispense a FP or do we have to wait until after 12:30 when the Splash Mountain time expires.

TIA

Sarah

Your Splash Mountain FastPass will tell you when you can get another one.
Now, somebody will inevitably post that you will have to wait two hours or until the return window of the first pass begins, but that information is outdated and very rarely applies these days.

I've got an extensive FAQ that covers the FastPass system on my web site if you are interested in learning more about it.

As said it will tell you but worse case is 11:30. Youare eligable again at the begining of your entry time.

Good luck

Thanks wdwguide! That was very informative and easy to understand...it helps to be able to SEE an actual fastpass along with the explanation.

I have a question though...how does parent swap (or whatever it's called) work with fastpass? I know normally they may let DS ride twice--once with DH and then again with me when we swap to stay with the baby. Will it work the same way with fastpass?

It should say 11:00 for your next one, 2 hours after you got the first one. It is supposed to be 5 minutes after the start of your first one or 2 hours, whichever is sooner.

When it's not crowded, they sometimes make it earlier. I got a fastpass for Jungle Cruise last month at about 2:10pm, return 2:50pm and it said I could get another fastpass at 2:15pm. The standby was 20 min at that time, I figured we would do Tiki Birds while waiting for the fastpass. When we went back about 3:00pm there was hardly anyone in standby.

Baby swap works pretty much the same way, whether you are using FastPass or not. Of course, the exact procedure differs from attraction to attraction - sometimes you'll go through the FastPass queue with a Baby Swap pass, sometimes you'll go in the exit and switch off there. Just ask a cast member at the attraction what to do.

Thanks again wdwguide! :p

DH says I need to relax and quit worrying about all the little details! ...He just doesn't understand that I ENJOY "worrying" about all the little details! ...LOL :p
