Fastpass question

We are picking up tickets at the park ( it's a non expiration old ticket that has to be made complimentary so we have to get there)..
Can we still
Get fast passes or only if we had magic bands?
First time with these bands for us..

Being able to get FP has nothing to do with having Magic Bands. Since you won't have tickets until you get to the park, you'll have to go to a kiosk in the park in order to book the 3 FPs you want.

You can reserve FPs at home, but you need to have the tickets in order to do that. You said you wouldn't have tickets until you get there, so you can't do it until you get there.

You must have your ticket linked to your My Disney Experience account in order to make FP+s ahead of time. You still need a MDE account to use the kiosks in the parks to make your FP+s. You will be limited to what is available at the time. If you get there at rope drop and go directly to a kiosk or cast member with an I-pad you may be able to get SDMT, but they go fast. Good luck. We rode standby once last week and waited about 50 minutes to ride when the standby clock said 100 minutes.
