Hi All, looking for a little advice as im confused. I just bought tickets on the WDW website for my trip next month. I linked my tickets for myself and my wife onto the My Disney Experience. But my question I guess is if I reserve fastpasses for a few rides on the website, how would it work when I go to the park? I don't stay on disney property so I dont get the MyMagic Band. So how would this work? My tickets are being mailed to me, I guess I dont understand how my ticket would know what fastpasses ive reserved. Any clarity you guys can provide would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Because your ticket is linked to the MDE site, your ticket will have all the same info. Magicbands and Tickets are the same technology. They both have RFID chips containing your info.

Hi thanks so much for responding. Thats pretty amazing. So even though I have a paper ticket any changes I make to fastpass reservations online will somehow be linked to my paper ticket? So when I walk up to the fastpass line at the designated time i just swipe my ticket and im good to go?? Thanks again

Yes, both your ticket and the magic band have a RFID chip that links to your MDE account. No fastpass information is on the ticket itself.

I believe if you do have a "Paper Ticket" you will need to exchange it for a plastic ticket at guest relations. I don't think the paper tickets will have a RFID chip in them.

I believe

1. if you do have a "Paper Ticket" you will need to exchange it for a plastic ticket at guest relations.

2. I don't think the paper tickets will have a RFID chip in them.

1. Correct. (Free of charge.)

2. Correct.
