Fastpass + Question

We have the magic bands for our upcoming Disney trip, but we haven't purchased our park tickets because we always like to buy them at the Disney hotel on our day of arrival.

If I stick the park ticket on the magic band and pick out Fastpass + times on my phone my question is: can I still go to the normal Fastpass kiosk ticket center and stick my park ticket card in to get a Fastpass?

Does this make sense? I hope so!!

Are you talking about using your KTTW in the traditional FP machines? If you receive a KTTW card then yes you can use it in the traditional FP machines.

However, Pop and I believe the All Star resorts no longer give KTTW cards so in that case you will have FP+ only.

Not quite. All Disney resorts will give you a KTTW card to use as a backup for getting into your room and charging back to your room. But Pop and the All-Stars (and maybe AoA) are giving out KTTW that cannot be used in the legacy FP machines. For right now (and things could change at any moment) the KTTW cards from the other resorts still work in the legacy FP machines.
