We are leaving in a few weeks and I'm trying to figure out if this will work (or will we even need to considering the time of year?)

We are at Epcot on Nov 1 for the full day. We are delivering our DD to the Sandcastle Club at 4:30 so DH and I can enjoy the F&W festival without her being bored out of her tree. LOL (Also going to Le Cellier!)

Although I suspect we won't be taking advantage of any attractions that evening besides eating and drinking around the World... I was wondering if we might score a Soarin' FP earlier in the day.

We are using Ridemax and it has us picking up Soarin' FP at 9:05 for a 10:09 ride and Maelstorm FP for at 1:11 for a 2:24 ride... (How's that for precise - we'll see how it plays out! LOL)

That said, would be able to pick up a second Soarin' pass between the other two? I'm guessing they will be gone by the time we are leaving.

TIA for your thoughts!

YOu'll have to do the math, but it is my understanding that at least one hour must lapse between getting one FP and obtaining the other....

it is OK if you get another FP w/o using the first.....

I have ANOTHER FP question... I am going to post it sep.ly!! :)

This is not accurate. It is not one hour between getting one and another. You can get another when the time printed on the first FP says you can. That can vary, up to a max. of 2 hours. The time you can get another one is when the riding window opens for the first one, or 2 hours, whichever is shorter. Again, it's printed on the pass.

And no you don't have to use one before getting another, so that is correct. AND you can use your FP anytime after the window opens for the rest of the day, you don't have to return within the printed window. You just can't use it early.

If you get a FP for Soarin' at 9:05, you next opportunity for another will most likely be around 10 AM, based on my experience. So pick up another one at that time, and the next window should be no later than noon or so.

Yes,there "most likely" will still be Soarin' FASTPASSES available at 11:05.:)

You can get another FP @ 10:09 in your case :goodvibes

You have to wait 2 hours OR until the timeframe of your actual FP begun...

I really do not think that you will need to get FP for Maelstrom.

You'd be surprised.

I've seen that queue backed up "forever," even in the "off season."

(And, no, I don't quite understand why, myself.)

Maybe because there aren't many rides in WS? So everyone just has to ride it?

Originally, there was supposed to be a gondola ride in Italy, but it was cut to save money. You can see two of the gondolas tied up in the Lake.

Not sure if this is official or if anyone can confirm this but I heared that you can get another fastpass after ONE hour, if you got a FP of ToT...

Anyone tried this??

Don't think so.

Things like that can change as experiments are conducted.

I agree with Robo that it's not set like that or anything. But I think often ToT return times do not get pushed out that far, depending on when you are there. It seems to be the least popular of the 3 big attractions at DHS, so that might happen for that reason.

If the return time for Soarin' actually turns out to be 10:09, then at 10:09 you can get another one...and then that one will allow you to get anothre one by 12:09 at the latest, most likely earlier. Even if the return time fo your first FP turns out to be later - let's say 11:30, then you can't get another until 11:05 (2 hours after you got the first one), but you'll still be able to get a Maelstrom FP at 1:05 at the latest.....so, even if Ridemax is off by quite a bit, you should be good.
