If you get a fastpass that says between 115 and 215pm, can you go later...like after 7pm? Has anyone had a CM turn them away due to the time expiring on their fastpass? TIA>

Yes, you can almost always use them later that same day after the "window."

There are sometimes exceptions, like sometimes at a very popular attraction like Soarin', but not many.

Nope... you can only use the Fastpass during the specified time. The only exception we have found is when the ride may be having problems, they will tell you to come back any time later that day.

Horse hockey!

;)

I think the majority of people are going to agree with robo, fastpasses can usually be used anytime after the return window starts, including much later that day/evening.

Well that's how it's supposed to work, but that's not how it really works..

I wouldn't count on being about to use it later. We have seen people turned away for having expired fastpasses.

That is what I am concerned about. The plan was to get a couple of fastpasses earlier in the day and then use them later on after our break at the hotel....ugggh...!!

Oh, I agree, there IS a chance that you wont be able to use them after the time. Granted a very small chance IMO, but chance none the less..

Another thing to keep in mind, once you get a Fastpass, you cannot get another one until that one starts, or two hours after you get the first one. So basically if you get one at 10 AM for 1:15PM the next one won't be available until 12 noon.

Just wanted to point that out because it sounded like you wanted to get them for a couple of rides and then return in the afternoon.

When we were at WDW in early December, I specifically asked a CM at Soarin if we could use our FP after the time window because we had lunch plans. He said that we absolutely could and that it is a "Disney secret" (his words) that the FP would be honored anytime after the time window opened, right up until park closing (excluding EMH hours). This was not a particularly crowded time, although waits for Soarin were still around 60 minutes most of the time. If you have any question about this when you get a FP, just ask the CM.

This is one of those things that most CMs allow, but every once in a while you may come across one who wants to enforce the letter of the law. If you are turned away from a ride because of an expired FP (which isn't likely), try again later when a different CM is on the FP line. You're likely to get a different answer. (Just don't try it on Soarin')

We use our FP later in the day more times than not and have never once been turned away.

I believe some of Tour Guide Mike's touring plans actually rely on using FP after their return time.

I would definitely plan to collect fastpasses during the morning and use them later in the day. That is what we have done and it works like a charm. We use the standby line in the morning when the lines are manageable and collect fastpasses as often as we can. We go back to the hotel in the afternoon and when we return in the evening, we have a bunch of fastpasses to use. In the very unlikely event that you get a CM who says no, either ask to speak to a supervisor or just come back a little later.

We were turned away once trying to use them for Soarin'. I have seen some turned away trying to use them late for Space Mt. too. I guess it depends on the CM and the crowds.

I always count on them letting me use them after expiration, and they've never ever let me down. :)
