Fastpass+ question for first time at MK

What MK rides did you use your fastpass+ on?? I'm bringing my 8 year old son on our first ever trip in early June. The fastpass+ system has me nervous. We only have 1 day to spend at MK. Can anyone suggest some rides that would be a good choice to use the FP+ on? My son does not do the roller coasters so we will skip those. I was considering Jungle Cruise, Peter Pan, and Buzz Lightyear.

for us in January with a 3 1/2 year old we did Big Thunder Rail Road, Enchanted Tales with Belle (we were going to do Jungle Cruise, but we changed it because the line was like 10 minutes when it was our fast pass time), and Peter Pan

Splash was closed and we did Rider Swap for Space Mountain

For an 8 year old who is not into roller coasters I might do Pirates, Buzz Lightyear and maybe splash mountain.

Depending on when you go, Buzz usually doesn't have that long of a wait. You could use it for Splash Mountain maybe? Definitely use for Peter Pan and Jungle Cruise.
