Fastpass Problems That Can't Seem To Be Fixed

I bought tickets on Tuesday from Undercover Tourist for our early April trip. I tried to link our tickets to my Disney Experience, and at first they seemed fine...until I tried to add fastpasses. Then it kept telling me to link a ticket or hotel room to add them.

I called Disney, and he could see the tickets and the problem I was having. After about an hour of being on hold while he talked to tech, they added something so that I could add fastpasses. Great. I don't care how it gets done as long as I could do it.

I logged on today, to check my reservations and fastpasses, and all of my fastpasses have disappeared. I tried to re-link the tickets, but it says "This reservation is already linked or cannot be claimed online by the confirmation number....etc. etc. etc."

I am now on hold for Disney customer service. I am very frustrated, however. (and sad!)

It's probably just a bug in their system. FP+ reservations tend to disappear and reappear on a whim sometimes. I'd stay on hold, while knowing that everything is probably fine. :)

Could you possibly have had other Disney login IDs?

Ask to speak to IT directly for them to check and merge all your IDs into 1.

I'm on hold with them right now. This is a problem that has apparently (according to the guy I'm talking to) that has been showing up since yesterday, mostly on tickets that are the 4 Park Magic tickets. A lady from IT is working on it. I'll let you know what they say.

I don't think I've had other log ins...

Oh oh, we were looking at possibly going for the 4 Park Magic Tix for our trip this summer. Hope this gets fixed...

The guy I was talking to helped me make fastpasses for the times/dates I wanted. I just hope they don't disappear.

We have a trip planned with the 4-park tickets coming up in early May. Have my FPs all booked - I hope I avoid this glitch!

They are gone again. Gah!
Have you checked the app and website? As long as they show in one of those places, you'll be fine.

Some posters with the Canadian tickets also experienced some FP booking problems. IT did book the FPs for them but they didn't have any problems after that.

Last year we had a problem with one day out of 15, on AP tickets IT could not fix the problem, they scheduled us or fastpasses for that day, they never showed up in MDE and I was sure they would be gone, but nope they were on the magic band, the resort reminded us of the times and we went and used all three. It was weird, one day in the middle of 15 days, but in the end they were there and we used them with no problem.

Yup, we've had FP+ vanish, and reappear, and vanish again. I have a Google document which is shared with my family, and all of our pertinent vacation information is stored in it, including reservation numbers for hotels, info for our house and car rental, ADR numbers and times, and all of our FP+ reservations. That way, if anything turns up missing, we still know where and when to be there.

I am so stupid. I feel like crying. I bought tickets that were outside of our travel dates. I thought they ENDED April 30, but that's when they begin. Disney can't help me upgrade them until I am there, and Undercover Tourist can't let me upgrade them or make any changes period. So no Fastpasses for us. I thought I had it all planned out, but apparently I am too stupid to understand dates... *ugh*

This is the second "wave" of the 4-day Magic Tickets. The first "wave" tickets were valid through June (?) and had the Pandora dates blocked out.

An easy error to make as when I checked the Magic Tickets site after you posted, I was surprised to see these new Magic Tickets valid through September.

Sorry that happened. Hoping for some pixie dust for you. :)

Oh no - that must be frustrating.

On the good side, we're hearing all kinds of fantastic reports of folks getting FPs relatively easy at the last minute. For the really difficult to get rides, rope drop will be super helpful (you were too late for these FP+ anyway as people start booking these 60 days out). I was impressed that I was able to ride Frozen Ever After very easily at rope drop last September. And a couple of years back, I was also able to do 7DMT at rope drop during one of the most crowded times of the year (Christmas Week). I'd suggest plan to be at gates about 45 mins before park open to be near the front of rope drop crowds.

Don't stress too much - refreshing the app constantly appears to work miracles and your trip will be just fine. You'll be able to ride plenty of stuff, even with booking FP+ on the day of :)

1) you aren't stupid. Disney tickets/policies are often needlessly complicated
2) as a PP said, all is not lost. You should be able to get FP for many rides day of. You may even luck out and get headliners. If not, you can always try RD if there's something you absolutely have to ride. Plenty of people don't choose fp until day of, and still have a good time. There are even some crazies who don't use fp at all!

Worst comes to worst, you're still at WDW!

Unfortunately, we are in Orlando for a conference my husband is attending, so rope drop is only an option on the first day. I did have a breakfast ressie for that day. We'll just play it by ear. Hopefully things will work out fine. :)

I really just wish they could work with me. They can "see" my ticket, so I don't understand why they can't upgrade it for me (for whatever amount of money it would take) over the phone or internet rather than just in person. I wish I would have bought them through Disney so they would...

I understand your frustration, you've admitted your mistake and are asking for help, it is annoying that they can't work with you :(

This is what I was going to say. I've had this happen to me, but it was my Memory Maker that got messed up because of two logins. Once they figured it out, it was an easy fix.
