Which fastpass attractions at WDW are not in the system (a.k.a allowing you to get unlimited fastpasses)?

LMA at MGM is the only "disconnected" fastpass if that's what you are referring to.

What? So on the day I'm planning on getting FP for LMA, are you saying that I can get them at any time instead of waiting for my previous ones to expire?

Yes.

You could get a fastpass for R&RC (for example) and the fastpass may say wait 2 hours for the next fastpass. You could go over to LMA and get one immediately.

If you don't have a fastpass and go over to LMA to get one (say at 9:30AM), the fastpass will say, next fastpass at 9:31AM.

When everything is working properly, all fastpass machines are connected to a central system.

You can get a Lights Motors fastpass about five minutes before or after you got a fastpass to something else. However the time for next fastpass as shown on your Lights Motors fastpass will not be earlier than shown on any previous fastpass you hold.

During less busy times you may be able to get fastpasses for other selected rides (unannounced, unadvertised, unspecified, trial and error only) before the fastpass you have says so. If you try and fail, the system will not give you a hint about when to try again.

It's not like you even need a fastpass for LMA.

I was told the same thing by a CM during a tour recently. This is also the only one I know of. However, the CM did tell us that occassionally they will turn them off so that you can get multiple ones. (I've never witnessed this, but she mentioned it during our backstage tour.)

I've occasionally gotten a "bonus" fastpass that's "spit out" of the machine at the same time as another. Most recently, when we got Test Track fastpasses, we also got Honey I shrunk the audience fastpasses. Granted, it's not one of the most exciting attractions, but it always feels cool to get a little something extra.

I have gotten multiple LMA FP with one AP, so I don't think they are tied in. That was last summer and again in Dec. The theatre is so big, the CM's I spoke with didn't think it could realistically "ever" be full. (I got extras because I didn't have the tickets for all my group with me when I was walking past the machine. Others were riding RnR, so I was checking out the new ride). No limit and I was not due for another FP when I requested it for about 1 hour.
I have received bonus FP in Epcot (for HISTA with TT FP).

I was also told that LMA was not "linked" to the rest of the FP system.

Funny thing... I was listening to the Inside the Magic Podcast today and they said that Kali River was also not "linked" to the rest of the FP's at AK. :confused3

Interesting....

I think I remember hearing that Jungle Cruise was only disconnected at DL. I could be wrong though :)

How can you tell if they are not linked to the system? Do they not have the standard blurb at the bottom of the pass that says when you are allowed to get another fastpass at different attraction or do you have to just know this and try to get a fastpass somewhere else?

I haven't tried it but I read somewhere Jungle Cruise was disconnected.

I was there within the last week and I can tell you for SURE it is NOT "disconnected".

I could not get JC FP's (I tried it) because the wait from our Space Mtn. FP's had not expired yet.

The whole issue of being "disconnected" is a Disneyland issue. I'm saying this for the benefit of anyone who is totally confused by where this question is coming from. At Disneyland, there are several attractions that aren't "connected" to the system, so you can get a Fastpass for them without it affecting each other or those attractions that are "connected."

This issue isn't nearly as common (in fact, I'm ignorant of it myself) at WDW.

If a fastpass machine is disconnected from the system the fastpasses it prints should not list a time for next fastpass at all.

Yesterday in one 2006 unofficial guide I saw Haunted Mansion and Jungle Cruise mentioned as fastpass rides not connected to the system. In the past I have both observed those rides allowing a fastpass earlier than advertised (on my previous fastpass), and not allowing a fastpass earlier than advertised.
