We've reached our limit on booking fastpass+ attractions with a long vacation later this summer. I currently cannot book any fastpass+ attractions for a short weekend trip. I don't want to lose any of my fp+ reservations for our long trip.

When I arrive in the Magic Kingdom this weekend, will I be allowed to make some reservations at the kiosks without cancelling future fp+ reservations?

What is the limit??? I didn't know there was a limit. We are upgrading in June and going back in October, November and hopefully the spring too. YIKES!

I think the limit is 7 days unless you have an on-site reservation. I have no idea about the OP's question.

I think for AP you can only have 7 days of FP booked at a time, unless you have an onsite stay. I don't know if actually being in the park would change that 7 day limit, but I would assume not. Since most FP do not require you to book 30 or 60 days, I would delete the FP from a day that doesn't include 7DMT or especially A&E so that you could make them for this weekend. Chances are that you probably could get back the ones that you give up, or you may have to ride all attractions standby.

That is a load of poopie. That would be enough to ensure I dont get another AP. ;)

Agree here, unless you have SDMT or Anna & Elsa booked, you should have no problem getting back any cancelled fastpasses for whatever time you booked. those seem to be the only two that are running into pre-booking availability problems. Soarin, Test Track, Toy Story Mania, and Rock N. Roller Coaster do run into availability issues, but those are mostly day-of issues and very VERy busy times might have limited early booking issues. Unless your Summer trip is July 4th week, you should have no worries about re-booking fastpasses with the exception of the examples provided above.

I believe so.

Yes, you can make FP+ once you're in the park. Currently the limit for AP Holders is 7 days without an onsite reservation. We absolutely hate this rule, we are AP Holders and don't stay on site.

You could:

1. Make the reservations in the park at a kiosk.
2. Take away some of the FP+ bookings you have planned for your future trip. Unless you have really hard to get ones (Anna&Elsa, Mine Train) you could make them again once you get back after your weekend away

OP, are you staying onsite for any of those trips?

I agree with above pp that you should be able to make them once you're in the park for the day, but you can't prebook more than 7 days without an onsite reservation.

Like the PP asked, are you onsite for your future trip? If so, if you can cancel the FP reservations for that trip temporarily, you should be able to make the 7 days of FP reservations. Then you should be able to go back and make them again for the duration of your onsite stay. The only issue would once again be if you have 7DMT or A&E, definitely would NOT cancel those to make FP for now!

Thank you Disney_Princess83. That's what I was hoping.

To answer everyone's question... We are staying offsite for both trips and we do not have any high priory FP+ reservations. However, we are going with a group of 11 and I don't want to cancel fp's because we have found that with 11 people it is hard to get FP+ in the same time frame at many attractions. Does that make sense?

I guess I should be thankful that they allow us to book anything in advance, being "offsite" guests. But these AP's (x 3 people) were not cheap. I want to feel a little more valued. I understand the need to circumvent a cray cray from the booking of 30 days worth of fastpasses for trips that will not even occur, but it makes it kinda difficult when you're in my situation. We still anticipate a great time.

It's really frustrating, I understand. We actually go for extended period (3-4 weeks) so it's hard to have such a limit, all due to being AP Holders and staying off site.

Good luck with your FP's!
