I have never used FastPass+ because I haven't been to Disney World in a number of years. The My Disney Experience is new to me as well. Here's the deal: I will be traveling with a friend who will have a separate room/reservation because we are not flying together or sharing a room, etc. Is it possible for me to make FP+ reservations in one park for morning and my friend to make FP+ reservations in a different park for afternoon? Are we linked somehow? Are the passes assigned to names/magic bands so the system will know who we are? I don't understand all of this. Thanks to anyone with answers!

Yes, you can do that -your Fastpass+ at one part and your friend's at a different park. But, you won't be able to take one another on your Fastpasses, if that makes sense. LOL If you have one ticket, you get to select three single Fastpasses for three different rides in one park.

And yes, the Fastpasses are attached to names.

Hopefully I am not confusing you more! LOL

See the links in my signature, starting with the green one. It is not necessary to read past the original post in any of them.

Thanks! This info is quite helpful. I was unsure if we both had to choose the same 3 at the same park and this definitely answers my questions.
