Fastpass in Sept?

How are the crowds in September - do you really need a fastpass??

i would say if it is busy or light you should try and take advantage of the fastpass...

If the crowds are so light that you do not need them....then they will not be offering them, period.
They are carefully monitoring the costs everywhere and if crowds are light they will not be paying extra staff to man the fastpass machines and the extra fastpass lines/entrances.
So if you don't see them offered when you are there...rejoice, the crowds are such that you don't need fastpass.

We used FP at the end of August. It was great we got an FP for 15-30 minutes away, got on the 10-20 minute standby line and than did favorites twice in a row.

When are you planning on going in Sept. We arrived 2 days after labor day and faspasses were offered but never needed. We didn't have more than a 10 min wait for any ride with most being walk-ons.

This past September, 19th-23rd didn't need them, were not available, at most FastPass rides.

We were there last Sept. Most of the time the fastpass machines were covered up. But we didn't care--there were no lines!! The only fastpass we got all week was on a Friday afternoon in Fantasyland. Pooh had a 20 minute wait and fastpass return was in 30 minutes. Sept. is a great time to go crowd-wise, but watch out for the hurricanes!!

Were there Sept. 2002, most of the fastpass machines were covered up. We didn't use it once during the trip. We didn't need to, all the rides were walk on the entire week.

Dec 3-7th was very empty and they still had workers at the FastPasses. The CMs told people not to even bother with FP since the lines were the same length. But people could still get a FP if they really wanted to.
