I know I can go to get a fastpass for everyone in my group BUT what about someone in my group who is not in the park?

For instance....I am in the park at 8am while the rest of my group slumbers. Can I use their keys to the world to get their fastpass for a ride even though they are not actually in the park?

I'm looking for a "I have done it and YES it works" Or "I have tried it and NO it doesn't work" I can speculate on my own thanks

No, you can't. The ticket must have been used for entry that day in order to work at the FP machine.

It won't work as the ticket has not been used to get into the park-no speculation as there are many threads on this topic.

Right....I'm not talking about a paper ticket. I'm talking about a key to the world card. You can use your key to the world card for Fastpass.

Agreeing with the other posters - it's a no go, as the ticket, paper ticket, KTTW card, whatever, it has to go through the front gate scanners to be activated for the day and to be recognized by the Fastpass machines.

You can only use your key to the world for fastpass if it has a ticket on it. Same rules apply as a separate ticket, it has to be used for entrance to the park that day.

Yes as long as they were in the park at some point in the day. Even if they just walked in and left right away. Oh and if they have park hoppers they have to leave their tickets with you, they can't go to another park because you now have their tickets.

Also you will have to meet them outside the gates to give them back their tickets before they can re enter.

Yes, but they won't be hopping to another park if you have their KTTW card. If they are going back to the room and then coming back, I guess you could stay and get Fastpasses and then also leave the park and meet them outside the gateswhen they return and give them back their tickets back.

Yes Disney only knows when you enter a park not when you leave.

Once they are in the park, they can leave. But if you are going at a busy time all the FP maybe gone for the day. And of course the rest of your family would not be able to go to another park as you would have their ticket.

Also don't forget you can only get one FP at a time. So if you get a FP you have to wait for the window to get the next one. So running from one ride to the next to collect FP won't work either.

I am aware that there is a 2 hour window for fastpass and that they are gone early during busy times of year.

Do they re-open fastpass later in the evening if the park has extra magic hours?

No, Fastpasses are not available during EMH.

And if you have their KTTW that has their park admission on it, they won't be able to get back into their room unless you give it back to them.
