Do they still offer a Fastpass for the Haunted Mansion during the Christmas Season? We will be there for Thanksgiving weekend. Thanks!

Nope.
Get there before 10am or during/after the second Fantasmic for the lowest lines of the day.

Oh OK, good to know! I wonder why they don't offer them anymore. Thanks for the info!

The FP machines are still there, but they have not been in use for the last few years. The line moves pretty quickly, so that might explain why they aren't using them at this point. I agree that early morning and late evening are your best bet for the shortest line.

Where? I haven't seen any machines (open or closed) around HM. Just mobs of people. The line doesn't move that fast. Last week was the first time I've ever seen where people couldn't exit the elevators because of all the people in the portrait hallway.

The machines themselves are still in the same location they've always been. It's in the little gated area behind where Jack and Sally now meet (between the HM and the train platform). The machines haven't been in use for several years, but you can still see them from the train. They're covered with a green colored bag.

I guess for me, the line didn't seem that bad. The queue did stretch outside of the gate, but not into the rounded area between French Market and HMH. The posted wait time was 35 minutes, but it only took about 35 to do the full line plus the ride. I'm sure there are times when the line is much longer, but I generally feel that HM's line moves fairly fast (especially compared to lines like Peter Pan or even SMGG).

I've been on the HM when the line was backed up to the stretching room before as well (both when it is in HMH overlay and when it is the regular HM). I think it most frequently happens when they're running the ride at full capacity (or close too), but they have to stop the ride for a period of time (e.g., to load or unload a Doombuggy). It doesn't happen too often (thank goodness), but it does happen occasionally.

When we were there at Christmas time we were stuck in the HM line for two hours. They had a funny cast member dressed as the butler cracking jokes, trying to keep the weary masses entertained.

Since then, we've gone to DLR during the off-season only.
