Fastpass Enforcement coming?

We didn't even realize until this trip that you could come back after the stated time on the ticket. I figured if it was meant to be an open ended system it'd just have a return time, not a range.

While we were thrilled to be let on the ride (Space Mountain!) despite our late arrival, it's certainly not an expected behavior, and I won't be upset when this starts getting enforced. Without it, I don't see a lot of ways to improve the FP experience for the better for all guests. :hippie:

I know...I was continuing the quote (sort of) - "We're on double-secret probation, whatever that is. We can't have a Toga party." I probably should have left off the question mark.

There is a little-known codicil in the Faber College constitution which gives the dean unlimited power to preserve order in time of campus emergency. This thread could easily be completely derailed with Animal House quotes...

I changed my mind. Whatever Morales thinks is best, I will do. Look at him. He is not to be trifled with!:rotfl:

But when people base their argument on the fact that we were allowed to do it, and leave it there, we get accused of being entitled, selfish people who don't care if our late FP use hurts others.

So how exactly would you like me to defend against that?

The fact is I'm a rule-follower by nature. Remember the goody-two-shoes kids in high school who didn't cut class, never tried an illicit substance, didn't drink at all before age 21? The ones who would rather study at night than go out and party? That was me.

I'm also a believer in level playing fields as much as possible, and in helping others, and in fact my career is dedicated to those principles.

So here's the thing: when a CM (yes, a CM) told me FPs could be used after the window, I actually DID take the time to think through the repercussions.

After thinking it through, it became clear that everyone had this same opportunity and that me using a late FP would not have a negative effect.

But when I say "I was allowed to do it, it was in the rules," people say "So all you care about is advantaging yourself?" (Implying I care nothing about others.)

ahhhh, I gotcha. Makes perfect sense now that you say it that way. Me? I just don't worry about it when people go all hookedonears about late fp use.

Also, I am sorry to say Morales will not be nominating you to the Royal Order of Inconsiderate Oafs...you are clearly too nice a person. ;)

Who dropped a whole truckload of fizzies into the swim meet? Who delivered the medical school cadavers to the alumni dinner? Every Halloween, the trees are filled with underwear. Every spring, the toilets explode.

I asked Morales. He has nominated you for the Royal Order of the Inconsiderate Oafs.

This is an actual photo of his reaction, taken moments ago:

That's funny right there, I don't care who you are!!

"I'm pre-law"

"I thought you were pre-med?"

"What's the difference?"

But you can't hold a whole fraternity responsible for the behavior of a few, sick twisted individuals. For if you do, then shouldn't we blame the whole fraternity system? And if the whole fraternity system is guilty, then isn't this an indictment of our educational institutions in general? I put it to you, Greg - isn't this an indictment of our entire American society? Well, you can do whatever you want to us, but we're not going to sit here and listen to you badmouth the United States of America. Gentlemen!

Can you ask Morales about this one?

9:45 ADR at CRT.

Walk up to CM at 8:30 on a 9 am opening day and say "I have a breakfast ressie at CRT, may I enter the park to make my way over there?"

Enjoy a half hour of empty Main St, see Rapunzel first, ride SM, pull FPs for PP, go eat breakfast at 9:45.

Not sure how much longer this will work (if at all anymore) - my CRT reservation on 2/6 had them checking my name at gate to make sure we had one before we were allowed through the turnstiles.

The issue here is not whether we broke a few rules, or took a few liberties with our female party guests—we did.

Did you actually say "ressie"? If so, they may have just let you in because they were trying to keep you from seeing them crack up.
