An someone explain how I would use the copy method to get harder to get FP's. Do I pick it for one person and do the others one at a time or do I pick it for one and then can copy it to the other three people in my party?

If someone is connected to your MDE account, it gives you a choice as to who else you want to book the FP+ for within your friends and family.

If you plan to do a copy, I suggest you do it from the web site, NOT the app. The app has a bug that will not ask for confirmation before it makes changes to your FPs. This can lead to unexpected and unwanted FPs if your first choice is not available. (At least, that was the case back in May. I haven't tried again since.)

I don't know if people have more success with copying vs. just trying to get new or change FPs for different groups of people. I would just try to change one or two people at a time rather than copying.

So if I have my boyfriend listed under friends/family, I don't need to copy anything, I'll be able to reserve the rides for both of us at the same time?
He does not have his own account.

Yes, you should be able to get them at the same time. When you go through the steps of reserving FPs, you will be asked to select the members of your party. You can select all or just some of the members.

i love this site its so helpful! i booked my FP+ a while ago, but i read on here about joining all my parties on MDE to the same reservation. It was a pain to get all set up, because i had to go into my account, my moms and dads and request us all as family members then accept all the requests, but it was worth it so that i could book all our FP+ together. Also all the dining res are linked to all of our seperate accounts so we can access things and look at them as we please. I still am NOT a fan of picking my fast passes early as it takes away from planning my day THE DAY OF and being able to be spontaneous, but I do like all the digital stuff disney is doing and going paperless and cardless. I just wish the FP+ would go away and let me go back to getting them the day of, and also getting rid of the tiered system at DHS and Epcot.
