Fastpass+ & Child Swap Questions

With the new Magic Bands and Fastpass+, how does Child Swap work?

Let's say a family has Fastpass+ reserved for Space Mountain on all 4 Magic Bands, but only 3 are tall enough to ride. Would you get a child swap, have dad & son ride and then mom & son go back and ride with child swap? Or can Mom use her FP+ and the son use the daughter's FP who isn't tall enough and then one parent and the son can then go back and use child swap?

Or would you just not reserve a FP+ for the daughter for Space?

I'm wondering about this too. If everyone in your party does not have to have the same fast pass, could you essentially schedule two separate fastpasses around the same time and use child swap?
