fastpass/character question

it's been almost 4 years since i have been to disney so i havent used the new fastpasses yet. If I am bringing my 7 year old in to see a princess with a fastpass - do *I* need a fastpass to wait in line with her and take photos, if I am not going to meet the princess myself?

Yes, anyone who enters the fastpass line needs a fastpass, even if you are only taking pictures.
