When it's just the two of us, no. But if we have any or all of the kids with us (all adults) we used to do this.

You can add a guest, but chances of getting "hard to get" FP are so low.

I guess you can connect MDE accounts? Call member services to see what you can do if you have friends joining you in the parks.

Guess we won’t be updating the app anymore then. It’s a convienent feature. Much more convienent than shuffling around cards/bands.

If people were just using it for the convenience of changing FP among friends who are in the park I think Disney would have left the feature in place. As with anything...there are always people figuring out a way to game the system as @Boski said so now the convenience is gone for everyone.

It's all about the loopholes I tell ya! Those darn loopholes ruin it for everyone!

This is just another way for Disney to control every move that we make and most likely make more $$$ for them (Disney charging for FP's is probably not far off...already starting with the whole Club Level FP's).

Remember those good old days when you would go to the Park and you were excited because you didn't know what Pixie Dust was going to come your way? Seeing random characters out and about? Going to a restaurant without having to worry about reservations? Now, your day has to be planned to the second...no more spontaneity.

What's next??? Use up your 3 FP's and then Disney saying "No (more) Soup For You!"???

Think about all the money you spend to go to Animal Kingdom and by the time your done waiting in line and riding FoP, half the day is gone...how many people spend $100+ a ticket to only be able to do 3-4 (maybe a few more) attractions in a day? Everyone in your party has paid for a ticket which should give you 3FP's...for all the money that we spend, Disney could at least provide some flexibility in how you use your 3 FP's...I guess it's swapping bands with one another as previously posted...I'm sure some one here is going to say that's "gaming the system" as well....can't win!

I'm not sure how closing this loophole is making Disney more money? We already get nothing for free LOL! I am happy to see loopholes closed such as when people had multiple MBs from people who were not even in the parks and were able to get multiple sets of FP. Now you have to be physically scanned into the park to use MB FPs. There's nothing wrong with passing your MB on to a friend who wants to use a FP for a ride you decided not to go on if you have both scanned into the park.

Off-topic but I would also love to see Disney crack down on people who book a resort room, make FP at 60 days only to (intentionally) cancel the Disney resort and instead stay-offsite while keeping their FP made at 60 days out. Whenever there are rules, there are always people looking for a way around them.

My family chickened out on tower of terror so I rode it four times with four different bands they didn’t care as the fast pass was still being used/scanned by them just not them riding it.
