Fastpass and Xmas Party

We're travelling this weekend, last minute trip. We have tickets for the Xmas Party on 11/17, and we have 3-day park hopper tickets for 11/18-20. All tickets are already in our MDE account, but we're staying offsite, so we don't have magic bands (so far) and we'll pick up tickets and wristbands at guest services. I'm planning to get FP for our 3 days at the parks, but I've read that you can also get FP for the Xmas party, if you get them for use between 4 and 7 pm. My questions here:
1) Will the FP system let me get FP for all 4 days if I have 3-day tickets plus the party tickets?
2) If so, how can I use the reserved FPs for the party if I will only have a wristband? I mean, if I scan the ticket on the Xmas party day, I will have used one day already. But then the FPs are on the tickets not on the wristband, right?
3) If I'm only able to get FP for our 3-day ticket, then I just plug in the date for our regular park days, 11/18-20, right?

Thanks!

You can only get FP's during the party window if you link your party tickets to a separate MDE. The system won't let you select 3 FP's for say Epcot in the morning then 3 FP's for Mk prior to the window. So to get the essentially 6 fps preselected for 1 day, attach the party tickets to a separate MDE account you make for yourself

Assuming I'm able to do that, how will I use those FP for the party, if I don't have a magic band? I will only have the party wristband, isn't it so?

You'll use your tickets.
But don't I need to scan them first, to be able to use them inside the park? That used to be sometime ago, maybe not anymore. But if I scan them upon entering the park, then I will be using one of my park days?

You'll be going to a park earlier in the day. You can't use a second park ticket if you already went to another park. So the system will know it's using your party ticket.

However if you want the 3 FP's for the party and connect the party ticket to another MDE those will be the only tickets on that MDE.

And no a ticket doesn't have to be scanned at the entrance for FP's to be activated if that's what you were wondering about

If I understand the first post correctly, OP is going to MVMCP on the 17th then using 3-day tickets on the 18th, 19th and 20th.

I agree with @CAS239 in that, when it comes to party tickets it's always best to assign them to a second MDE profile. Not only to avoid having to prioritize ticket entitlements, but also to avoid any problems with booking FP during the 2-hour window of 4-6pm. Some people have been reporting that when regular tickets and party tickets are assigned to a single MDE profile it causes some glitches with booking FP. Some folks have been able to book FP for the party only to later get a warning email from Disney stating their last day of FP would be cancelled due to insufficient ticket entitlements. To avoid this just create a second MDE profile and reassign party tickets to the new profiles.

As for your original question of what to scan at FP entrances. Did you receive plastic MVMCP tickets in the mail? If so, I believe you could use those to enter your chosen FP lines.

You're right, we won't be going to another park that day, we will arrive that morning. I don't have tickets yet because I just bought them 2 days ago, and we live out of the US, so we'll have to pick them up on arrival to MK. So I was guessing I wasn't going to get an actual ticket, only my party wristbands plus my plastic tickets for my other 3 days. That's why I was wondering what will I scan at the FP booth during that timeframe of 4-7 pm, before the party.

You should be given a plastic ticket for the party as well. Wristbands are given out after your ticket media is tapped at the park entrance. You will use that hard party ticket to tap at the FP line.

Yeah, you should still get an actual "hard ticket" for the party, as that will be how you get into the park. Party wristbands aren't given until you're already in.
