Fastpass and DPP?

The last time I was at WDW there was no such thing as fastpasses. I understand that they use your ticket to get them. Is the DPP on the same card or is it something different.

Looking at our RideMax plan for AK it would make since for me to go run and get fastpasses while my wife and kids placed our lunch order so I could return, sit down and eat.

Is this possible since I would have to have all 4 of our tickets for the FP?

Thanks, Dave

If you are staying onsite then your tickets will be on the KTTW card (unless you just booked a room only). You use the KTTW card or your park ticket to get Fast Passes.

When you enter the FP area there will be a return time shown (11:10-12:10) You won't be able to get another FP until that first time or 2hrs from the time you get your FP. When the FP prints on the bottom it will give you a time in small print that is when you can get your next FP.

Yes, you can take your families KTTW or Park Tickets and get FP for everyone at the same time.

The DDP is on your KTTW card.

I am assuming DPP is DDP.... Disney Dining Plan?

You will need at least one of the cards to charge your credits for lunch for anyone on the adult plan. If you have kids on the child plan, you will also need at least one of your children's cards as well.

You are the ones using your card for the FP machine so you can send your family ahead to at least decide what they want, or even hop in line if it's long but you need a card present per category to charge you meal credits.

With the FPs, if you need 4 for all 4 members of your family, you need all four cards.

The answer to this question requires further information. Were you planning on doing a Counter Service(aka Fast Food) lunch, or a Table Service?

If you were doing a Counter Service location, then no, you wouldn't be able to do what you had planned. You would need all 4 KTTW cards to get FP's for everyone, but your wife would have to hold on to at least one card in order to get lunch. This would result in at least one of you not having an FP.

On the other hand, if you were planning on doing a Table Service lunch, then yes you could do this. You could take the 4 KTTW cards with you to get the FP's while your wife and children got seated at the restaurant. They could order for you and you would eat when you arrived. The KTTW card wouldn't be needed until you were finished your meal and ready to leave.

Oops! Forgot that point. You do need at least one card to order food off the DDP at a CS. So no you couldn't get FP until the food was ordered.

At a TS then you could, as they only ask for the KTTW card at the end of the meal.

Thanks, this is exactly what I needed to know, Yes DPP=DDP it was late when I typed this LOL.

Wait till your wife orders then grab the pass and head for the fass passes. It sometimes takes a while after ordering to get the food. But if you go to the flame tree BBq there are so many places to sit hidden in the woods he may never find you after he returns.
