We are first time users of FastPass+, so could someone please help me with this simple question. We are 2 adults + toddler (1 year old). If we wanted to make FastPass selections for Space Mountain, do we have to make it for both of us adults or only one? One of us goes first and then the other one - we will have to use the baby swap.

you only need it for the one adult so you are in the fortunate position of being able to get 6 fastpasses for height restricted rides if you so wished.

Obviously that's a bit mean to your child lol. But I would certainly use one for space and the other for big thunder or splash if I was you :)

Thank you for the quick reply! We are intending to do this while the little one sleeps in her stroller :). Is it a long walk from Space Mountain to Big Thunder? None of the MK maps I have found have any scale, so I have no idea if the walk would take 10 minutes or 30 minutes (it will be a crowd level 8 day, so lots of people..).

Hopefully someone will be along to help you out, I can't remember it has been a couple of years since we were there and I was dragging 2 children a husband and pushing a stroller so it would have taken us a lot longer than you should take

Closer to 30 minutes I would say. It is pretty much on the opposite side of the park.

Thanks for the info Suellen, it will be too far then. I will need to choose something else for FastPass. Maybe I will take the little one to see Ariel and leave my husband waiting outside

We went beginning of Feb with our one year old, and although you can get 6 FP for the big rides, it just did not work out for us. By the time you get through a big ride, even with using a FP, it took 20-30 min per person per ride, so it takes 45 min-1 hr for both adult to go on one of the big rides. We exhausted ourselves each trying to go on the big rides as much as possible plus also take our DD on the smaller rides.

Just FYI Underneath Splash Mountain there is a small play area that DD really enjoyed while DH or I rode BTMRR and Splash Mountain.

its really not far (in the grand scheme of things-- ) Are you staying in tomorrowland?

yopu can even take the train and get off outside of splash-- while one rides-- the other can take the toddler to see woody and jesse there is also a covered play area there too

and several rides that the toddler can ride.. magic carpets see the country bears, Jungle cruise pirates of Caribbean The tiki bird show.

Our daughter usually sleeps about 60-90 min only, so Space Mountain will be enough to do while she sleeps. We planned to see Tomorrowland and half of Fantasyland that day, so I changed my FastPass booking for meeting Cinderella and Rapunzel later that afternoon.

I already posted this same question in the Family section of the forum, but I will repeat it here also: We have only 3 days, and the first 2 we will spend at MK. But how about the third day, where to go? Our original plan was to go to AK but is it the best option for toddlers? We are planning to go to zoos this summer, so the animals are not a "must" for us to see.
