I just booked my 20+ trip to Disney, I have a FL resident AP. I am taking my BF and his 3 kids, who've never been to Disney. (Sidebar: my BF hates to plan anything, is a spur of the moment kinda guy. I told him he HAD to let me plan this because planning a Disney trip will give him the flexibility to be spontaneous
His response: yes ma'am.)
Anyway, here's my question. I just checked my My Disney Experience app and if I click the FastPass+, it just says it's in trial mode. I DO want to give them the best experience possible, will buy their tickets ($129 for 3 days FL resident special) by Friday, and am concerned by everything I read here. If I can't reserve FP+ for everyone, will there even be any FP for us?
As a veteran FP'er, I'm not too keen on the idea of the FP+ but it is what it is and I want these kids to have the time of their lives: minimized time waiting in line, even if that means fewer rides overall. Quality over quantity. And they don't like getting up early, so RD is probably not for them. So for that reason alone, I think FP+ might actually be a good thing for them. Kids are 13, 11, and 9.
Thanks!
