What is the fastest way to get from Epcot-World Showcase to Hollywood Studios?

Depends from where in WS, really. If you are in the "right half" (basically from Japan or the US around to Canada), take the boat from outside the International Gateway exit to DHS via BW, YC/BC and S/D or walk. The boat ride should take about 20 minutes and the walk via BW is just a bit longer at a good pace. If you've just missed the boat, the walk likely will get you there faster than waiting for the boat and then riding. Obviously the boat is more relaxing.

If you are in the "left half" of WS, you can do as noted above or get to the main gate at Epcot and take a bus from there to DHS. The walk to one or the other will be about the same. The bus ride is a bit shorter than the boat ride.

Depends on your group. I always just walk..takes about 18 mins. You can take a Friendship boat, but it will take longer..especially if you just miss one.
When my friend and I were leaving WS, we headed to the boat that was sitting at the dock. But..they were starting to pull away, so they yelled to us that another boat would be there soon. We yelled back that we would just walk and beat them to DHS. They yelled back that they would beat us!! We got to BW about 30 seconds after the boat docked there. We cut through the Village Green area, to the Luna Park pool area, and out to the walkway to DHS that is behind BW. We next saw that boat as we approached bag check at DHS. The boat was just coming around the bend. We beat them by about 8-10 mins!!!

Walk The boat makes so many stops... it's faster to walk.

I have to agree with walking, if you can handle it, it is faster. We left DHS as a boat was getting ready to pull out, we cut through Luna Park pool and village green at BW, and as we were cresting the hill to take us to IG the boat was docking at YC/BC which meant it still had to do BW before docking at EPCOT. We never take the boats anymore unless someone in our party cannot handle the walk.

Agreed!! Only take the boat if you want to relax not if you're in a hurry. They make many stops and are very slow. You'll beat them just walking.

From Le Cellier in Canada the IG is the way to go. If the boat is loading, take your pick as to whether to walk or boat. If there's no boat loading, take the walk via BW.
