We are flying in on August 13; the earliest we could arrive is 2:20 pm. we want to try to get to Hollywood Studios as quickly as possible to maximize our day. we are staying at the beach club; has anyone used a car service or other means of transportation that will get us there quicker than the magical express? I don’t want to use Minnie van because it’s so expensive!!!

Anything is probably faster than DME. A car service is probably the fastest way. We use Tiffany Towncar. They meet you at the baggage claim and the car is parked just outside. Have the car service take you to your resort and leave your baggage with bell service, then have the car service drop you at DHS.
If you don’t check baggage you could save some time.
The car service should be about $135 +tip round trip.

does Tiffany still offer a free grocery stop on way to resort?

We used Priceline and rented a car at the airport for $12 a day. It was 100 for my whole trip with the fees. They had compact cars for $9

We have used Black Car and they do the same.
Staying at DVC, stopping at a grocery store is awesome. Love having them meet you at baggage claim.

Dont you have to pay parking fees at the resort as well?
For us its worth it, i love having a car.

It will be worth it to have a car now that Disney is limiting the buses to 15 people. You might end up waiting awhile to catch a bus.
