This past summer ROFR took 2 weeks and the whole thing was completed within 40 days.
It is worth checking the Closing Time thread to look at people's experiences, they tend to post how long each step has taken there.

Ours was one week (11/20-11/27). I thought was fast, especially with Thanksgiving on the 23rd.

Estoppel took longer, but I think because Title company was waiting for the final 2018 dues from DVC, which have to be paid in full on closing.

9 days for my BLT contract, 13 days for VGF (@frabjous and I had all our VGF contracts go the same day, and we heard the same day). For the BLT contract, we had points in our account about 6 weeks after the offer and signed contract; VGF may be the same (or not) because we are already in the system. (But we are 2 different UY as well, so that may be an issue). We've had really good DVC karma.

I have a theory that they do a bunch of the same resort on one day, then the next turn to a different resort, etc. Last month I saw a bunch of BLTs pass on the same day, some of which had been submitted before and some after our VGF had been submitted. (Then a couple of days later, we heard about our VGF.)

Last year, we went from offer accepted to points in our account in about 30 days. We didn't actually hear that it had passed ROFR until we got the closing papers to sign and send back with the final check. It appeared that ROFR ws under 7 days.

Our just passed at the 8 day mark. Sent 12/28 passed 1/5. Great turnaround with New Years in the mix.

Our contract is SSR- any of you waiting care to share which resort you have? One person had a theory that they do a bunch from one resort a day because they sent two different contracts in the same day and one came back 6 days later and another almost a week after that.

I would think a lot of it has to do with current members wait-listed for add ons to their use year. DVC guys are salesmen so if they have people who mentioned they wanted an add-on at a resort for a specific use year and there were none in the point bank i'm sure that goes into consideration for them to jump on ROFR and follow up with the current owners who requested. Seems like good business.

Our 200 point $86 pp April Use year at Saratoga passed while I saw numerous SSR contracts not pass for higher pricepoints in the time we were waiting. I think they all had summer use years.

Ours is a stripped 200 pt contract for 84 a point with a June use year. Was your contract for 86 a point stripped or did it have all of its points? Just curious about ROFR and stripped contracts. I’ve heard that they tend to stay away from those but I’ve read a couple people say they had stripped contracts from saratoga taken

mine had all of 2018 and 2019 available. No points from 2017
