Fastest option from DTD to MK

We have an early morning appointment at the DTD BBB and are going to MK after. I know we have a couple of options on how to get to MK, but what would be the fastest?

-take first bus to any resort, then bus from there
-walk to a resort in walking distance and take bus from there
-take cab to TTC and then take monorail

We will likely not take the monorail for any other reason during our stay, so that might add the bonus of riding the monorail to the last choice.

Or is there something else I am missing?

The first bus back to a resort is not usually until after 10:30 am. You may want to consider a cab.

Take a cab to the Contemporary and walk to the MK from there. It's about a 15 minute walk, but that will be faster than taking a cab to the TTC and then taking a ferry or monorail to the MK.

If you tell the driver you are going to walk to the MK, he or she may drop you off a little closer than the CR lobby - i.e., near the stop light.

PP is correct that resort buses leaving DTD probably would not be great at that time.

I would either walk to SSR from the Marketplace side (there is a marked path) and catch a bus from there or take a cab to the CR (not the TTC) and walk to the MK from there. If you want to take the monorail, cab to the TTC would be fine too.

Buses from DTD to the resorts are "deadheading"; almost all the buses are heading to the parks and are only dispatched if there are enough people waiting for that particular resort.

Buses start leaving DTD Marketplace for some resorts at 8 a.m., but regular service to all resorts starts around 11. Guests trying to get to a theme park before 11 are advised to take a bus to Port Orleans FQ, because it's nearby & buses depart frequently for there.

You could also walk to SSR Grandstand station, which is about a 15 minute walk from BBB.

There may not be taxis waiting at the stand in the morning. You can call for one at 407-422-2222.

This is what I would do.
