Fast Passes

Hello all,
My family and I will be going to Disneyland for the first time in August. We have been to Disney World and loved the fast pass system. I was wondering if it works the same way in Disneyland? Any information anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated!!

FP is DLR is used the same way it is in WDW, with one big exception. At WDW the FP return window is enforced, at DLR it is not. Of course that is subject to change but at this time the FP is valid anytime after the start time.
