My niece just told me that she read somewhere that they give you a free fast pass when you have lunch at "Be Our Guest." Does any one have any idea what she's talking about???

If the answer is yes, will this free fast pass be in addition to the 3 fast passes we're entitled to per day through My Disney Experience????

Thanks in advance for any help or clues you can offer!

Best wishes,
David

It's not a ride fast pass.

It's a fast pass to lunch so you don't have to stand in line.

Disney has sent email invitations to people to book it, around the time of their trips. I did it last trip. You get a link in the email and then you check which day you want to go for availability. You can even preorder your meal.

Just for information, there have been a few very recent reports of folks using that link that was posted getting turned down for their BoG FP reservations (were told there was no record of it). These were people who did not get an email invite, but just used the link that's been shared all over the various Disney boards. It was suggested maybe they are tightening up who can/can't use it. I can't speak to it other than what I've read here recently, but it's a caution.

If this happens you can show a printout of your FP+ reservation and you will be admitted. Do a Print Screen of your details and you'll be all set.

We have used the BOG FP+ three times now with no issues and we have never been formally invited.

+1. Same here. Never invited but printed out the sheet for proof. Each time they said we weren't on the list but still let us in. No prob.

Sent from my iPhone using DISBoards

Are you required to pre-order your meal? I don't see a way to bypass that. I never know what my son will be in the mood to eat until we get there.

We preordered on our trip when we went in February, but when we got there, they asked if we preordered; I said yes, but wanted to change it. She said no problem, just tell the CM when we get up to the register.

I was only able to book within 30 days of our trip in March. You don't have to pre order. No problem with using the FP.

Check your emails when you are at Disney! Can't believe this happened.... stood in line for 45 minutes for lunch at BOG and did not realize I had received an invite email. It came the day we arrived at Saratoga.

I had cancelled a dinner reservation for the same day and assumed the email I received was confirming the cancellation  Wish I had that 45 minutes back and wish Disney had sent that invite before the trip started.

I got on the site and was able to get a BOG FP for June 1. There was no way I could print this out and no # so I went back into the site and changed my time. Took a screenshot with my phone and will e-mail it to myself and print it out. Just in case.

We got one for 5/21 this week, connected to our VGF reservation. We did not pre-order, it gave an option either way.

What is the policy now for beer and wine? Is it available at lunch?

I don't believe so. Dinner only

To me this whole thing speaks to why I spend less and less at Disney. I don't go on vacation to have my days plotted out with loads of appointments. I can do that at home

We were just there for lunch yesterday. Wine and beer were available. Don't remember prices or brands, though.
