Fast passes and DVC

This June is going to be our first DVC trip. I went to look at fast passes on the Walt Disney World site and it said that "We don't see tickets for these guests. So you'll need to buy or link addmission..." We plan to buy annual passes at the park. But we don't want to miss out on selecting our fast passes...how do we go about this? Thanks!

You can call Member Services and buy your annual passes. Now you will have tickets linked to your reservations and you can make fast pass reservations 60 days out.

You will receive a voucher in the mail. Bring it with you along with a photo ID for both of you. You can redeem the voucher for your annual passes at Guest Relations on the first day you go to the parks. Your Annual Pass will start on this day.

If your DVC account is linked to your MDE account, you can purchase DVC priced passes on-line at disneyworld.disney.go.com/passes/.

You must purchase tickets in advance and link to your MDE account either the receipt number (for annual passes when purchased in advance) or ticket number (other passes) to use FP+. As long as your MDE account is linked via the same email to your DVC account, you can go online to your MDE account, open the "Parks & Tickets" tab at top right, click on "Annual Passes," and you will be taken to a page where you can begin the purchase of annual passes, including the Gold, at the DVC discounted price. If you purchase that way online the passes will immediately show up under your MDE "My Reservations And Tickets" section under the "MyDisneyExperience" tab on the top right of the main page, and you can then make FP+ selections beginning 60 days from date of arrival. You will also receive a comfirmitory email. Alternatively, you can call MS and purchase the tickets in advance, and as long as emails are the same in both the DVC and MDE account, they will again show up immediately in your MDE account as soon as the phone transaction ends, and you will also get a confirmatory email. When you arrive at WDW, you will need to go to any ticket booth or Guest Relations at a park and get actual card tickets and activate them on your Magic Bands. You will need your DVC Member card and photo IDs (to show same address) for all those 18 or older getting the passes. They recommend that you bring that email receipt or the applicable number from it but usually that is not needed since they will have the purchase information under your name in the system (moreovoer, if you have a smartphone with you and the MDE app set up, that same number can be shown using your smartphone). The annual period of use for the passes begins when you get them at the ticket booth or guest relations.
