can someone please tell how FP works?
Do you get to pick what time you want to come back or do you just get the next open time frame?
How long do you have to wait in the FPs lines?
Does every in your praty alwas get the same time?

You get the posted time frame, you can not choose the time.
The possibility to get different time frames is very small, in this case just go at the earliest FP time you get.

One thing I will tell you that I read on these boards before our trip last week was this...

If you get a fastpass and you don't make it within the hour that they give you, you can always come back later than that just as long as it is the same day. We put this advice to the test on Space Mountain. Our fastpass return time was 11:55-12:55 and we returned at about 5pm. They didn't even hesitate to accept the fastpasses.

Utilize fastpass and have a great trip!!!

For rides, if you get fast passes for the whole family at once, there might be a five minute difference. Every five minutes a new group of fast passes matures. Since the return time window is an hour long, there will still be a 55 minute overlap.

For shows, if you hit it just right, you might get the last fast pass for one show and the next fastpass will have a return time perhaps 45 minute later and timed for the next show. I don't know the best way to handle this but would suggest you all report together for the first show time and accept the slight chance the CM will tell "you all to come back for the second show time even though some of the first fast passes had technically expired".
