Today was the first day I could use our family fast passes so last night I stayed up to midnight to make sure the kids were able to see and ride the rides they wanted. My daughter really wanted to see Anna and Elsa at Princess Fairytale Hall, now it was 12:02 and this is what it said " Fast Pass+Distribution has ended for selected day". Does this mean two mins after 12 they are sold out? Will these characters be out during the MNSSHP?

Unfortunately that's what it means.

Others have likely been booking them as part of their 60+10 for a number of days already.

And while it's highly likely they'll be out at MNSSHP, we won't likely have confirmation until the first party is held

We stayed off-property from 1st - 17th August so booked ours 30 days before. Living in the UK we had to get up at 5am to try and secure ours. We were able to get all the FP+ we wanted apart from that one too. We were not offered many morning selections though so most of ours were later in the afternoon.

Last time I went to WDW was in the beginning of December, I remember that during EMH's Anna and Elsa had around a 15 minute wait towards the end of the night. If you are staying on property you should plan on taking advantage of the EMH's and trying to see them during that time if you can't get the FP's. I'm not sure if the wait was actually 15 minutes and if the sign was lying, but I remember it being short- I did not wait on the line since I wasn't interested in meeting the 2 Princesses.

Awesome news we still have a chance, the only princesses my daughter really wants to see and I was so disappointed that I couldn't get a fast pass for her. Yes we are staying on property so I'm definitely going to use EMH and hoping for the best. Does anyone know if you can meet any of the princesses during the MNSSHP?

You don't have to have a FP+ to meet the princesses. The line can get really short later at night and is a good backup plan for those who don't have a reserved time slot. Just keep in mind that the A&E lines closes a half hour before park closing time, so don't wait too long to jump in line.

Just a few weeks ago, we visited A&E just before 11:30 pm. The posted wait was 90 minutes but the actual wait was only 10. We still had time to ride 7 Dwarfs twice before the park closed at midnight. We felt that this was a very efficient use of our time and much better than what could be accomplished in the morning.
