fast pass with MVMCP

Just wondering, is fast pass still an option when the park is doing the MVMCP?
We are going Thursday Dec 8th and with Pop warner still going on I am a bit worried that the party might be very very crowded!

When we were at MVMCP last year,fast pass was not operating during party.I think you will be fine crowd wise,we are going on 6th and 8th this year.So hey maybe we will bump into each other.Fridays are the MVMCP's that are crowded and often sold out.Have fun

thanks for the quick response! This is my first MVMCP and I picked thursday because I was hoping for it not being sold out! Here's hoping!!

Hi, Susieeq. No Fastpass when we were at the party last year. I don't think the MVMCP passes are set up with the same info as a park-entry pass, so the Fastpass machines can't take them. Maybe also the party time is too short? It doesn't leave much of a window for Fastpass if it's only a 5-hour event to start with, and there are parades and fireworks that most people don't want to miss.

Also, Disney claims to limit the number of tickets sold so that the MK is less than half full. I don't know... we had no trouble walking on to rides last year, but I've heard lots of reports that people found it crowded. We're going back this year, and because my family is all about the RIDES (couldn't care less about parades and shows), we are planning to hit the more popular rides during the parade.
