Fast Pass question

Can you choose yoour fast pass times for later in the day? Lets say you want to fast pass Space Mountain for 2pm and it is only 10am. Will the system let you? Or will it assign you the first avialble time regardless?

No, it automatically assigns the times that are posted. However, I've heard that you can use an expired fastpass later in the day. I did it a couple of weeks ago on Space Mountain with no problem.

You are assigned a 1 hour window to return - the return times will be above the machines, so you'll know that before you put your ticket in.

The earlier poster is right. You can use an expired fast pass any time during the day (at least at less crowded times). I did this several times with my friend in November.
