Fast pass question

we are going to be in Anaheim next week. My son has something to do most of the day on Sunday. Can I go in the morning and get a fast pass for him without him going through the gate with his annual pass so that we can use it later in the day?

No. All tickets and APs must be scanned at the gates (either park) to be used for FPs. Once scanned, the ticket/pass can be used in either park to get a FP. Is there a way your son could enter one of the parks first thing in the morning so that you could use his pass to get him a FP for later?

Nope. You will get a ticket that says the pass hasn't been used for admittance.

Not without him entering one of the parks first.

He would need to walk in either park, scan his AP so that they can check his photo and activate his ticket in the system...then he can walk right out and hand you his AP so you can be his AP runner for the day.

You can explain your situation to the CM at the FP area and they MAY pull a fastpass for you. I've asked twice and both times the very generous CM have granted me a little pixie dust.

You would skip the day entirely because you couldn't get a fastpass?

And remember that the fastpasses return time is now enforced. So you would have to time things carefully.

We wouldn't be there until like 4. And I really just wanted to ride RSR and be back on the road by 6 to head back to Phoenix. Not a big loss since we will be there the following week!

You could do single rider, that's usually really fast....possibly faster than fast pass!
