FPs for RIDES and MEETS nearly all have a one hour window.

FPs for SHOWS usually have a 15-30 minute window.

When the FP is issued to you, it will show the window.

If it's a ride, you have from 11-12 to use it. No earlier, no later.

Then you wait in the stand-by line, like everyone else w/out a FP.

Probably not. The CM's have a system for allowing guests onto the ride so that FP+ holders and regular stand-by all get on in an orderly fashion.

That's regular stand by

Majority of ride FP wait times are a 5-15 min wait.

planning on using fast pass on Expedition Everest along with child swap. We have 2 adults "A", "B" and two children "C", "D" (they are tall enough). Here is the problem The ride sits two per seat. The Children do not want to ride alone. Adult "B" is not going to ride (back problems) If adult "A" rides with child "C" first is there anyway to swap and have adult "A" ride with child "B" right after the first ride? I hope you can understand this and help.

There is a 5 minute grace period before the FP+ window opens and 15 minutes after it closed. So if you have an 11 am FP+, you could enter the queue anytime between 10:55 and 12:15.

Swap is for children that are not tall enough for the ride.

If my own understanding is correct, just book FPs for all, and have Adult "A" use Adult "Bs" magic band the second go.

Thanks, I didn't realize you could take band off and put back on! That should work well.
