OK - so I think my daughter and I are staying on property and my parents arent. If we use fast pass to see the princesses (autographs etc.) can my parents stand in line with us if they do not have the fast passes for that? Just curious. Thanks!!!!!!!

Everyone who wants to enter the FP line MUST have a valid FP.

Look at it this way. How are they supposed to keep track of who really wanted to be there and who was just keeping someone company in line? It would be impossible.

See the green link in my signature for answers to this and other frequently asked questions.

That is a very inforamtive link!!! Thank you!

Ok - another question - so how hard is it to get fast passes to work together. Lets say I book my fast passes 60 days in advance. Can then 30 days in advance I get my parents to "sync up" with mine so we can go at the same time - or is that virtually impossible.

Look - these people are old. :) They are more interested in the character stuff and maybe the teacups ok? They dont need the lines for the fast rides, etc. haha!

Hopefully that makes sense!??!

We just got back last week. My family has annual passes so we made our FP+ selections at 30 days out. My parents came down with us and purchased florida resident tickets when we got there. My mom linked her tickets from her phone in the car on the way to the park and made her selections each morning. Our times matched almost perfectly. A few things throughout the week had overlapping times by 5-15 minutes at most.

Keep in mind we were there for a pretty slow week. Crowds were level 3 and 4 most days.

If the character FP+s you want to 'sync up' are a meet and greet for Anna and Elsa, I would say you are going to have a very hard time. You may be able to get the FP+ for those of you 60 days out, but those with a 30 day window are having a harder time securing FP+ for Anna and Elsa. Some people have to overlap times to be able to go in together. It's not impossible, but it's not going to be easy. You would need a bit of luck.

Other characters (Cinderella and Rapuznel, Mickey Mouse, etc) and attractions like the Tea Cups will easily be able to be synced up at 30 days out.

Ok - we are thinking of going on December 12th time period.......during free dining. My parents really want to see her with Elsa and Anna - how long are those lines wihout a fast pass?

Also, are you saying the 30 days out - you can even schedule that?

The current posted standby wait time for Elsa and Anna is 200 minutes. There have been times it has surpassed the 5 hour mark.

ETA: Fastpasses have been "selling out" very quickly, as in you have to be on at midnight the day your 60 day window opens and possibly book for later in your trip. Additional fastpasses have been released at a later time and it's always possible to luck into a cancellation. Just keep checking. And hopefully the madness surrounding these two will die down a bit by December.

We loved the movie... but no way in **** we'd stand in line to see A&E for more than about 45 minutes. Over that is silly and 300 minutes is just absurd. I know the little girls love them... but 5 hours? It's just crazy to spend that much time in line for something.

We've been to the parks a bunch and I was always happy to stand with the kids to see Cinderella or Mickey or whoever. But even on the highest crowd days I don't think we ever waited an hour to see anyone. One time we waited about 50 minutes for Snow White at EPCOT and that was because when we were almost to the front of the line she had to leave for a few minutes and the wait time included waiting for her replacement to show up.

5 hours just boggles the mind. Heck... two hours would be too long.

But aren't you thrilled that so many other people will stand in a 5 hour line and out of the other lines for a major part of your day?

What about if you get Askerhouse reservations early into the park? I heard something about that?

Also, what if you beeline it right to them right when the park opens?

I'm hoping Anna & Elsa and the 7DMT helps the absorb a lot of the crowds when we are there in a couple weeks so our wait at Splash Mountain can be shorter. ;)

But I'm seriously wondering about the accuracy of those posted wait times.

Akershus is in Epcot. Elsa and Anna moved to the MK on April 20. You could try for pre-park opening ADRs at Crystal Palace or CRT.

Would that work? Getting in Crystal Palace or CRT? Are there any other reasons I could get in the park early?

If we get there right when it opens - first thing - do we have a shot at not waiting long in line??? Not even sure what time the park opens.....or where they are located!!!!!

I have seen reports where the standby line wait times get to 200 minutes by 9:05.

Elsa/Anna meet in MK in Fairytale Hall (where the Snow White ride used to be) in Fantasyland.
