Hi all. We are DL / DCA bound on Monday and Tuesday. We plan to enter the park at 8am on the dot. We want to ride the Cars ride along with Soarin. I understand there is a new background movie for Soarin, so my main question is should we, like we've done in the past, pull Cars fast pass first, then hope the Soarin fast passes don't run out by the time we are able to pull it? Does that make sense? Any other tips to make the most out of HOT days. We bought personal fans and misters to bring with us. It's going to be a scorcher. Thank you in advance.

It is a tough call but I am seeing on another app that fps are still available for soarin now at 12.22 pm. if you can single rider cars then the least risky strategy is soarin first.

Stay hydrated, take an afternoon break, go to animation academy building to cool off, go to tiki room and main st cinema in disneyland to cool off. good luck, we are right behind you on Wed and thurs.

Thank you for the great feedback. I really appreciate it.

Don't forget, the two parks are not linked. So I would try the first day you are there and if you can't get both in the same day, just have a runner go from DL to DCA the next day and get you all the one you were unable to get. If you really want to do them all in one day, I would do this order, Get Soarin Fastpass (should have a return time within an hour), Ride Toy Story, before your soarin fastpass ride but after the window to ride opens, get an RSR fastpass, then ride Soarin. My plan in my mind has everything done except your RSR ride before 10.

If you have early entry privileges, take advantage of that on Monday. Get to the gates early and be toward the front of the line. Go straight to Cars and walk on (for the most part). Then head for Soarin' and ride that. The line shouldn't be too bad during early entry. You might still have time to enjoy a couple of other attractions like Toy Story that are available during early entry. Just before early entry is over, you could get in line for Cars fast passes so you could enjoy it a second time later in the day if you want.

If you don't have early entry privileges, plan to enter DCA on Tuesday since it is a non-early entry day for DCA. You can basically follow the same plan. Go straight to Cars and ride. Then head for Soarin' and either ride if the line isn't too bad or get a FP.

Get to the park before 8am (730a-745a)
8am starts get FP for Soarin then head to Paradise Pier and ride Toy Story Mania first
Then Screamin, Funwheel, and Goofy
Should be around 930am and almost time to use Soarin FP. Ride Grizzly
Grab FP for WOC show, the FP for Frozen show, the FP for Racers, use FP for Soarin.
Right before you see Frozen get a FP for Tower of Terror

This will work for Early or Non Early Entry days
