Just one more reason to hope for the quick and painful death of the Fastpass system. I don't know who thought of the set-up but he or she ought to be banned from ever making any future decisions about anything including what color socks to wear.

The system has been self defeating since day one and is obviously only getting worse as CM's, in an effort to make EVERYBODY happy, have given up on enforcing the proper use of it. A bad idea that has become a nightmare!

You must have been the lady in front of us at the safari ride in AK in 2002. This lady went on and on about how fastpass was ruining WDW and was the dumbest thing they ever came up with. Obviously, this person must not have taken advantage of fastpass. We just laughed to ourselves. I think fastpass is wonderful.

I was very thankful for these boards the first time we went to use FP. Because I did my homework here I knew what to expect. We were with a group of 7 people. None had ever used FP before even though the system had been in place for awhile. One member of the group had talked the others out of using FP on their trip the year before because she said it was 'too expensive'. So everyone was surprised when dh & I showed them how to use it. It saved us a lot of time & we were pleased with the results, esp on Space Mtn. If it weren't for the Disboards I would not have had a clue about FP. I'm so thankful that there are people on here who take the time to teach the rest of us!
